What is the Melrose Youth Band?
The Melrose Youth Band is an ensemble open to all elementary students who have been playing a band instrument for at least one year. This ensemble provides an exciting opportunity for elementary school students to play more advanced music and experience the creation of music with a large ensemble.

Rehearsals are held on Thursdays after school from 3:00-4:00pm in the MVMMS Band Room

December 16th, 2026 - Winter Band Concert in the MVMMS AuditoriumÂ
March 3rd, 2027 - Band Night in the MVMMS AuditoriumÂ
May 5th, 2027 - "Pops!" Concert at Memorial Hall, 3:00pm
