The MHS Marching Band is a group made up of 9th-12th grade students in Melrose. The group competes in the NESBA Band Conference, in addition to performing at home football games and a couple of community events. The group begins the year with a week of Band Camp (this year we start on Sun 8/23), and ends typically the first weekend of November. Throughout the year, we rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm and on Saturday Competition days from noon until we return from the competition. Rising 8th graders who particiapte in the MVMMS Band Program are welcome to audition for the group.
